Monday night
went to the gym, had dinner with YC and then we played a bit of Wii.. I'm finally a "PRO" on the bowling circuit.. though I'm not sure how long THAT would last.
and then we watched this DVD "I love you, man"
It's about this guy who essentially doesn't really know how to bond with guys but he's straight. It's hilarious when he had to figure out who was gonna be his best man at his wedding. So he set out to meet guys (sounds wrong, one of it ended wrong) and yeah there was just so many wrong things about it.. lol. It wasn't too bad a movie actually.

Tuesday night
futsal friendly....

Wednesday night
rant

Thursday night
had quite a fair bit of pork @ checkers with a few cousins.. just some catch up time =)
this is the pork knuckle.. yummeh.. Might have had coffee with Jo-Lyn and Pat after that,
Oh yeah. I started wearing my glasses too and then made the appointment for my 2nd assessment. LASIK here I come.

Friday night
don't remember what I did. Since there appears to be a gap in my memory. Perhaps I went to the gym as well? We went for karaoke and dinner at Redbox @ the curve.. We being Ken, Jo-Lyn, Joa Quim and Karen. My singing was 'orrible! There was like something constricting my voice box, I just simply couldn't get to the notes. It was bad + embarassing
I think I played Acquire that night @ Alvin's after the karaoke session and I may have won.. Maybe

Saturday night
Futsal was crap.. wearing glasses and playing is just simply not on. Dinner at 'The Cafe @ Palma' with Jo and Joa. It was not too bad. They had some interesting stuff on offer. Joa may be doing a brief review so keep an eye out for that. We had bubble tea after that. There's a new Yippee Cup over at Plaza Mont Kiara. Until the end of this month, there's a promo, buy 1 free 1. Needless to say, I had 2.. :P
M-U won.. yay =)
Had a DVD night on Saturday.. We saw "RocknRolla" and "Role Models".. lol

RocknRolla - people don't talk like that.. almost everything said can be used as a quote.. but t'was good
e.g. "If I could be half the human being Bob is at the cost of being a poof, I'd have to think about it. Not for very long, but I'd have to pause." - Mumbles, from RocknRolla

Johnny Quid: You see that pack of Virginia killing sticks on the end of the piano?
Pete: Yes.
Johnny Quid: All you need to know about life is retained in those four walls. You will notice that one of your personalities is seduced by the illusions of grandeur - the gold packet of king size with a regal insignia, an attractive implication towards grandeur and wealth, the subtle suggestion that cigarettes are indeed your royal and loyal friends, and that, Pete, is a lie. Your other personality is trying to draw your attention to the flip side of the discussion, written in boring bold black and white, it's a statement that these neat little soldiers of death and in fact trying to kill you and that, Pete, is the truth. Oh, beauty is a beguiling call to death and i'm addicted to the sweet pitch of its siren. That that starts sweet ends bitter, and that which starts bitter ends sweet. That is why you and i love the drugs and that is also why I cannot give that painting back. now please, pass me a light.
Pete: Oh you are something special, Mr johnny quid.
Classic.. =)

Role Models - they make everything sound wrong.. EVERYTHING!
but this is funny (@ Starbucks)
Danny: Can I get a large black coffee?
Barista: A what?
Danny: Large black coffee.
Barista: Do you mean a venti?
Danny: No, I mean a large.
Barista: Venti is large.
Danny: No, venti is twenty. Large is large. In fact, tall is large and grande is Spanish for large. Venti is the only one that doesn't mean large. It's also the only one that's Italian. Congratulations, you're stupid in three languages.
Barista: A venti is a large coffee.
Danny: Really? Says who? Fellini? Do you accept lira or is it all euros now?

sidenote: have u noticed that they(starbucks) have stopped with the names in real life? *edit* my bad.. starbucks still uses this sort of nomenclature.

Gayle Sweeny: Well, well, well. If it isn't Mr. Bullshit and Dr. I'm-full-of-shit?
Wheeler: In what way are we full of shit?
Danny: Which one of us has the Ph.D?

Ah.. I love low-brow humour.. =D

Sunday was a super slow day. I was at home
totally..
except at night but then I don't remember what I did at night.. I remember I went out for a while.. lol
stupid memory!
May have went over to Alvin's place again. played some Acquire. Didn't do so well. bleagh

I like this NIKE ad. Well at least the writer claimed tha it was from a Nike ad.

Some quotes
Sounds stalker-ish.. ;)
“I hid under your porch because I love you." -Dug, from Up (2009)

"in the grander scheme of things, you'd be hard pressed to find me" - an idiot, from randomness (circa 2009)

This is quite a nice song.. but the lyrics don't make sense
check it out, this is the chorus

"Have I found you?
Flightless bird
Jealous, weeping
Or lost you?
American mouth
Big pill looming"

Birthdays,
