First off, I have to say that I had my reservations.. 85++ for the meal was not heap to say the least..
And I wasn't too keen on Jap food either much less a buffet of Japanese food.. But what the heck, I went anyway

I was slightly late this time round.
6 ppl came for dinner,

Me, Joa, Pat, Leonard, JJ and Sam.
Here's the deal about entrance. You're supposed to PAY and then enter the place. I wasn't aware of that little requirement so I didn't pay before going in. I headed to the entrance and the usherers there showed me to table 46. The sheer variety of FOOD was crazy.. I only managed perhaps 60% of it all. I skipped the raw section and ensconced myself in the fully cooked section. And my oh my what a variety. There was the braised section, grilled section, the pan-fried section, teppanyaki section, the self-cook hot-pot section, the tempura section, soups, and pastas.

The grilled section was big. (ran out of superlatives) You can order codfish, salmon, lamp chop, beef, more beef, various other seafood. For the tempura section, they even had soft-shelled crab cooked to order. The system in Jogoya was such that you are each given a metal clip which has your table number etched into the metal itself. You drop the metal clip into the bowl in front of the food that you want and then they will cook it to order and deliver it to you. Excellent hotness food.. you can even get a steamed whole fish this way.
So I can't comment on the sushi, sashimi section because I didn't venture there. But Sam had it and it looked rather appetising.. =)

Us being gluttons, we ended up with doubles and triples of a lot of portions of the food.. sigh.. which ended up with me eating like eating 8 shrimps. Drinks variety was quite varied also. There were the standard fruit juices, not so standard blended juices, whole fresh coconut, hot tea in pots (about 6-7 types), coffee machine, latte machine, phew.. I think i'm missing something here but I can't remember what. There's also 6 different types of ice-cream, assorted cakes, chinese boiled dessert.

I met King and Ching Ling there. King was with like.. 8 chicks inclusive of Ching Ling.. I seem to bump into King at a lot of places. Futsal, shopping mall, and various other places.

All in all I'd say that this place is very value for money even with their hefty price tag.. you can eat to your heart's delight. One thing though, get there when it starts proper because they actually split it up into 2 sessions. Supper starts AFTER 10pm. I don't know what time dinner is supposed to be though.. They'll announce over the PA that the kitchen will be closing up.

All of us ate until we couldn't move anymore.. I feel that there's no better endorsement than cleaning up everything and us not feeling like eating for the next 24 hours to demonstrate how good it actually is..

I read Joa's review and I realised that I had glossed over a few things. One was that I nearly slipped near the tempura section.. damn floor was slick from the oil fumes... .... and then the tempura prawns.. I very nearly couldn't find the prawns.. lol

And I kind of didn't pay for dinner.. *Feels a little guilty*
